I supported prospective families through the admissions process through in-person, phone, and email conversations as they explored Ridley College as an educational institution for their child. I developed meaningful relationships with these families and guided them through the admissions process. Under the Director of Enrollment Management & Admissions, I developed innovative recruitment and admissions strategies, by reaching out to feeder school partners, as well as attending virtual and in-person educational fairs and conferences. Guided by the mission and vision of Ridley College, I supported enrollment efforts through departmental and school-wide policies and protocols. I was responsible for determining the admissibility of prospective students by examining academic reports, recommendation letters, and conducting admissions interviews. I made recommendations for admission, which were presented to the Director of Enrollment Management & Admissions. In addition to administrative admissions duties, I oversaw the Student Ambassador Programme, a leadership development programme of 70 students. I was responsible for training these student leaders to conduct on-campus tours and assist with virtual visits, while developing their leadership and public speaking skills. I created a training programme and ambassador guidebook. Show less

I was the first point of contact for over 100 prospective JK - Grade 12 families as they explored the academic programs at Hudson College. Through email, phone, and in-person visits, I was responsible for developing relationships with these families as they moved through the admissions funnel, from initial inquiry through to final enrollment. Throughout the admissions process, I conducted campus tours for prospective families, and also arranged personalized visit days for prospective students. Additionally, I was responsible for ensuring an admissions application was complete and ready to be evaluated by the Director of Admissions. I was also responsible for overseeing the student ambassador program, a leadership development program which allowed student-leaders to conduct campus tours to prospective families. I developed a training process for these ambassadors, allowing them to develop their public speaking and leadership skills. Additional responsibilities included creating a registration handbook for newly enrolled families, conducting registration meetings with newly enrolled families, as well as co-ordinating Open House events. I was responsible for ensuring the safety and social-emotional well-being of up to 75 International and Canadian boarding students, ranging in age from 12 – 17, as they completed their studies in Ontario. I developed programming for students to enhance their experience living at a boarding school, including a mindfulness workshop series. I created targeted programming based on the stages of adolescent development. Within the Boarding Student Leadership Program, I developed the Boarding Communications Representative, a student leader who was responsible for sharing information from the Boarding Administration to the boarding community through emails, newsletters, and weekly presentations at dinner.
