At bbk I coach professional artists and offer workshops. The individual Basis-Coaching consists of a detailed analysis of the artistic portfolio, with practical advice and input for improving the presentation of the work (also studio visit). In case of specific projects or ideas to be implemented (artworks, exhibitions, projects), practical advice is given and the various stages of the implementation evaluated, including the financial aspects of the project's realization and the fundraising options (advice for identifying sponsors and filing applications, etc). At GSM I worked as job coach, helping several clients to find their ways in the German labour market, focussing mainly in activating the client's own skills and resources. Besides one-to-one consultations I also provided coaching to groups and received a training as mediator for the "Kollegiale Beratung" (peer consultation) in the company. uqbar e.V. is an association and a project space I co-founded with Antje Weitzel and Dorothee Bienert. We used the association to develop large scale art projects (in cooperation with Berlin based and international institutions), and our premises as project space for exhibitions and events.
