In collaboration with other editors, I would assess the potential of articles submitted to the MJSDL. I would propose substantive and structural improvements to the authors' of accepted articles. I would verify sources and the formatting of footnotes to ensure articles are ready to be published.

Program Facilitator/Junior Policy Analyst
-
May 2021 - Sep 2021
As a Facilitator of the Civic Participation Pilot, I was successful in providing a unique learning experience to youth and helping equip young leaders with a number of valuable civic engagement skills and knowledge. More specifically, I ensured that a diverse group of up to 200 youth from across the country were able to gain experience in areas such as: project design and management; applying for and managing funds; and marketing and fundraising, to name a few. I also experienced policy writing by combing though NGO activity reports to highlight challenges experienced by organisations during the COVID-19 pandemic. My research was ultimately included in Canada Service Corps' annual report to the Treasury Board. Show less

We would assess accusations of academic misconduct and make recommendations to the President of UBC regarding how to address the student's academic misconduct. My member status was reviewed annually and I maintained the role until my graduation in 2019.
