  Main Responsibility: 1) Handle business travel agreements for employees and clients. 2) Manage relationships with travel agencies, and negotiate contracts and rates with them. 3) Coordinate with the travel agencies to book the best flight routes and prices. 4) Maintain and update a database of most cost efficient airlines for specific routes. 5) Communicate with the PAS to confirm itinerary details, routes, travel dates, financial considerations and any related issues, notify them of any relevant changes. 6) Keep track of all invoices with the designated travel agency and ensure that invoices are settled in a timely manner. 7) Review employees' expenses to ensure they are in line with the firm's travel and expense policy and forward it to the finance team.   I worked at WMF as a researcher since September 2015. I have been associated with different projects such as the Archive of Women’s Oral History. I was responsible for interviewing, editing, filing of the interviews in addition to reporting and meeting preparations. Branching from that project, there have been several other activities including workshops and exhibitions. During my time working on them, I built the experience of event planning and logistical management. Moreover, I have organized exhibitions such as the Hawa Idris exhibition in Aswan hosted by Ganoubya Hurra feminist group (2017), and “Doing well, Doing worry” travelling exhibition at the Falaky gallery at AUC (2017). The same exhibition was held in Beirut. After each activity, I was responsible for collecting feedback for the purpose of monitoring and evaluation that would serve the planning of following organizational projects. Show less
