I am responsible for the planning, managing, execution, and growth of the West Region Four Block Career Readiness Program to assist the most significant number of transitioning military and veterans. I serve as a local leading voice and advocate for Veterans. ▪️I coordinate with our corporate sponsors/hosts to conduct educational and networking events on the West Coast, leveraging our national corporate partnerships for those seeking employment across the country and connecting our students to opportunities where they are. ▪️I teach, manage, and mentor student veterans and transitioning service members throughout a semester-long, university-accredited program designed to equip high-potential veterans to achieve great careers at our nation’s top companies.Our program is taught in partnership with Columbia University, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and T-Mobile. The goal is to challenge and equip veterans to obtain competitive positions at companies and organizations that match their interests, attributes, and strengths. Trinity Veteran is 501(c)(3), dedicated to helping previously homeless Veterans through our Trinity Veteran Centers that provide food pantries, social programs, physical activities, and life skill programs. We distribute food, water, and hygiene products to our Veterans once a week through our food pantry to ensure they receive the essentials they needed to survive. The essential goods come from a large community of partners that support us. We pick up, organize and distribute the goods needed by the Veterans. We utilize various spaces as program rooms to offer social and physical activities that help improve the soft skills and health of the Veterans. We also help the families of the Veterans (spouses, children, dogs, cats, etc). Programs offered include but are not limited to: food pantry, social skill development, life skill development, children events, mental and physical health.
