  Four-year cooperative student (8 terms) reporting directly to the engineering manager in the on-highway vehicle department and responsible for various engineering projects in support of global customers. Selected accomplishments & projects: - Designed a test system to approve warranty claims for ZF transmission shifters. Test software was created utilizing the Arduino coding program. - Selected to assist in the creation of new transmission calibration software for certain commercial vehicle test vehicles. - Created performance simulations for potential customers using specific ZF transmissions and axles. - Hands on experience disassembling and reassembling ZF transmissions and axles. - Completion of a Senior Thesis Project which involved creating a tool that would make the disassembly of a ZF commercial vehicle axle more efficient. The NX 11.0 software was utilized to create the initial design and to complete various finite elemental analyses. This tool will result in a fifty percent reduction in the effort associated with the pinion gear removal in a ZF axle. Show less
