• Principal Strategic Advisor to Meta's EU Digital Services Act Compliance Officer

  Effective since 25 August 2023, the EU Digital Services Act (DSA) is a seminal regulatory framework that introduces an international standard for content regulation and the protection of social media users from harm. It is applicable for providers of intermediary services operating in the European Union or with a 'substantial connection' to the bloc. An independent function as per Article 41 of the EU Digital Services Act, Meta's DSA Compliance Office is responsible for monitoring our platforms' compliance with this regulation. DSA CO provides assurance of regulatory alignment to Meta's European Board of Directors and the European Commission. In this role, I am responsible for the strategic enablement of the DSA Compliance Office. From strategic planning, operations management to Board and European Commission engagement support, I oversee a cluster of key strategic activities that enable Meta's DSA Compliance Officer to perform their statutory duties as stated in EU law.
