  RCM – 30 years! Somehow it just doesn’t seem like I have been working on my own this many yrs!I love what I do and everyday go home knowing that I have helped someone. My association with the firm was one of the true highlights in a 40 year plus association with healthcare. I needed Nurse Case Managers who knew what that really was: Nurses with skill, education, experience and empathy; in short, Nurses who saw case management as true advocacy for the patient with no allegiance to insurers, providers or administrators. And thanks to RCM, I found them. Simone’s unfailing response to every screwball request I made was something I came to count on more than I knew. And I freely and proudly admit that Marilyn taught me more about professionalism in healthcare than I could have imagined. But it went even further. Thru Marilyn and RCM I was exposed to not only professional case management organizations but a great many individual Nurse Case Managers as well who not only advocated but also demonstrated what it was all about. And we solved problems, and we got the job done, and we proved that the most cost effective medical care you can find is the highest quality medical care you can provide. And we did it case after case after case. And they – those case managers – saved lives. I can tell you stories about stunning cases with unbelievable outcomes, but then Marilyn knows those stories better than I do. And I am proud that as long as I have been out of it, I can still remember the names of those case managers. And now, in a world where virtually every element of the healthcare delivery system and its cost structure seem to be absolutely antithetical to what we did in fact, not just in philosophy, I want to express my admiration, my thanks, and best wishes for the future to you and all of your associates.
