Marilyn is a kind and dynamic team member. She is deeply creative and diligent about her work as an educator. She managed complicated deadlines, logistical details and partnership relationships with ease and foresight. She handled interactions with parents and students with warmth and professionalism. Marilyn is a true dream to have on any team!

Recommending Marilyn is an honor and a delight! She is an exceptional professional and an even more exceptional human being. Marilyn arrived at an extremely busy time for my colleagues and me and into an environment of maximum chaos after the departure of our permanent administrator. It took her no time at all to learn and understand all the complicated administrative systems and programs that we use at work, and she instinctively knew how to find the right help when stymied. Marilyn also came just as the budget process was beginning and jumped into that without hesitation but with much welcomed competency. She also had to quickly salvage our event program for donors which she did with great skill and creativity. Marilyn is extraordinarily smart and capable — someone who clearly has had the arts administration experience that is noted on her resume. Despite having received little onboarding help, she immediately knew how to pick up the pieces and forge ahead. In the midst of a chaotic transition, Marilyn was also reassuringly calm — and calming — so that the pressure we were under quickly began to fade. She is dependable, reliable, and someone who works well independently and will follow through on whatever projects or tasks have been assigned to her. I could not be more grateful for Marilyn’s expert assistance and support these past few months. Although not a stated aspect of her remit, Marilyn also made important contributions to our conversations around our curatorial work with heritage communities, and greatly added to our sense of internal, departmental community. She is a genuinely caring and thoughtful person whose grace and generosity will be missed. Marilyn came to help out in our department as a temporary administrator and made anything but a temporary impact. Thank you, Marilyn!
