Marilyn Maze is a gift to the counseling profession. Marilyn has strong computer program development skills, something most of us lack. Marilyn understands program content, how, to make online apps work more effectively, and how to help others to do the same. She is a marvel, something the Maryland Counseling Association (MCA) experienced this year. Before Marilyn returned to the organization, MCA did not comprehend the power of a membership application and how to keep it up to date and running smoothly. Now MCA’s web site has an updated look, and content is added on a regular basis. MCA thanks Marilyn for her strong contribution to the organization, and is grateful for her willing presence in our organization. Karol Taylor, MCA President 2017-2018

Marilyn is one of the key leaders of the Maryland Career Development Association, & a very accomplished practitioner in her specialty. She is also one of the most avid team players I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. She is extremely talented and succeeds at anything she attempts and she doesn’t know how to say

Set up the Credentialing Commission for the National Career Development Association to effectively and efficiently assess the skills of applicants and identify those who should be allowed to hold an NCDA Credential. Working with a team of NCDA member experts with a variety of specialties and career paths, identify a small number of credentials and the requirements for each. Develop a reliable process for evaluation of applications.
