  Het ontwerpen van FttH-netwerken vanaf het offertetraject tot en met de uitrol van projecten voor verschillende opdrachtgevers in Nederland en Duitsland. Hierbij wordt er een zo rendabel mogelijk ontwerp gemaakt, door per situatie de meest geschikte aanlegmethode, materialen en technieken te bepalen. Hierbij wordt er gebruik gemaakt van programma’s als GeoStruct en AutoCad. Daarnaast komt het maken van de bijbehorende vergunningen, waarbij er contact is met verschillende instanties (gemeentes, provincies, waterschappen). Tegen het einde van het ontwerptraject, worden de relevante gegevens van het project verzameld. Hierbij wordt er gecommuniceerd met verschillende interne afdelingen, waarbij het van belang is dat deze gegevens compleet en up-to-date zijn. Op deze manier kan het project succesvol worden overgedragen, zodat het kan worden uitgevoerd. The engineering of FttH-networks, from a high-level design until a detailed design.
