Coordinated agency input and updated the detailed implementation plan for the Lake Erie Action Plan (LEAP) under Annex 1 (Nutrients) of the Canada Ontario Agreement on Great Lakes Water Quality and Ecosystem Health.   The Non-Profit Board Student Internship Program is organized in collaboration with the Community Service-Learning (CSL) with the Faculty of Arts at the University of Alberta. Through this program, I attended a series of six workshops held by the Government of Alberta Board Development Program. The workshops provide training and discussion of key aspects of non-profit boards. Topics included: financial responsibilities, organization purpose and planning, policy development, building strong teams, and more. Using the skills and knowledge acquired through the workshops, I regularly attended and participated in Solar Alberta Board and committee meetings. Contributed a final project to support the board where I compiled Solar Alberta’s policies, guidelines, and governance documents into a comprehensive and well-designed policy handbook as part of an integrative project to aid board governance.
