Marija served as the Head of Community for the Global Shapers Riga hub. Her main tasks revolved around creating a sense of community among the members of the hub. That included organising social events for existing members, recruiting new members and making sure that the new members were successfully onboarded. During that she demonstrated a clear vision and the necessary drive to bring them to completion. Despite taking on the role during the Covid pandemic, where the majority of interactions were online, she found ways to adapt to the circumstances and keep the hub members motivated.
