The Belgian Cancer Registry is an organization that collects, controls quality, processes and analyzes cancer registration data in Belgium. As a data analyst within this organization, I took part in various research projects related to Cancer Registry data. In this context, in addition to the management and use of large databases, I was able to get in contact with people from various disciplines, and develop protocols for analysis in collaboration with doctors, experts in the field of health, biostatisticians. In practice, I was responsible for the development of statistical analysis programs (SAS 9.1, Statistical Analysis System), to answer specific questions in the field of cancer epidemiology in Belgium. Mainly: - observed and relative survival analyzes - incidence analyzes - quality of care indicators
