      I was asked to take over this site as the nursery had been issued with welfare requirements notices. I developed and implemented a ‘SMART’ action plan which facilitated the changes needed. This included the embedding of policies and procedures; facilitating the continual professional development of all staff in order to raise quality, and the development of parental involvement.Following these interventions, the nursery was re-inspected and graded ‘Good’. Further action was taken to address the recommendations given at inspection; when the nursery was re inspected again in January 2018 and it was graded Outstanding.
