  Mariel is a Litigation and Appellate Partner with Parker Ibrahim & Berg LLP in Costa Mesa, Ca. As a Litigation and Appellate Partner, she focuses on commercial litigation, real estate, and bankruptcy matters. She regularly drafts legal pleadings including but not limited to, complaints, motions to dismiss, demurrers, motions to strike, answers, motions for summary judgment, pretrial and trial documents. Mariel also regularly appears for law and motion, discovery and dispositive motions, as well as status conferences and mediations. She handles litigation matters throughout all phases of a case, from initiation to discovery and through post-trial and appellate matters. Mariel also regularly conducts and defends percipient witness, party and expert depositions. She has handled appellate matters in both state and federal courts and has successfully argued several appellate matters. Mariel was part of a practice group acquired from AlvaradoSmith APC in January 2015.
