Marie and I are not only coworkers, but we also were classmates in the Northern Arizona University, Parks and Recreation Management program. During our time at NAU I saw her demonstrate incredible leadership and teamwork skills, not only in a classroom setting but also in the back country. Her willingness to help other students and work collaboratively made her stand out amongst her peers, and these skills have certainly helped her in the work place as well. As a youth educator at Flagstaff Climbing Marie displays a level of kindness and professionalism that many strive for years to cultivate. Additionally, her attention to detail and ability to fluidly shift between desk work and education make her a true asset.
