CZECH PRESIDENCY of the Council of the European Union(International Relations and EU Affairs)My specialization: revision of the Trans-European transport network (TEN-T) & Deployment of alternative fuels infrastructure (AFIR) & military mobility & Western Balkans issuesMy responsibilities:- I was part of the Czech Presidency transport team. I was based in Prague and attended meetings and negotiations in Brussels.- Both the EU legislative documents were top priorities of the Czech Presidency. Both are very closely watched international topics, so there was much pressure on our Presidency.- I coordinated the evolution of the discussion of these regulations at ministerial, intergovernmental, and national levels, in both political and expert lines. I also prepared supporting documentation for the EU Council working group, bilateral EU meetings, and the Minister's meetings. - I played an essential coordinating role between the Ministry and the Permanent Representation in the EU. - I can also stand in as an expert on both legislative regulations. - Apart from these two priority areas, my agenda included the issue of military mobility, monitoring the discussion of other regulations from the "Fit For 55" package, and Western Balkans issues.Achievements: 1. Czech Presidency reached a general approach in the transport Council on a regulation on Union guidelines for developing the trans-European transport network.2. Czech Presidency took into account the situation in Ukraine quickly and flexibly. Under the Czech presidency, solidarity lanes were created, and the TEN-T corridors were extended to Ukraine and Moldova. These steps already helped with more seamless and fluent transport in both directions. 3. Czech Presidency significantly contributed to greener and more sustainable mobility. We have made meaningful progress in the negotiations with Parliament on AFIR, where we have found agreement on many areas of the regulation. Show less

CRISIS MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT - The main focus of my agenda was to fulfill, coordinate and manage tasks in the military mobility field, operational preparation of the national territory, and national defense tasks.- I was part of the military mobility team from the beginning. I participated in developing and implementing the Military Mobility Action Plan (2018). I was designated as the "Liaison Officer" for this area in the transport sector. - I ensured active participation in international exercises of crisis management authorities (CMX and ML) and represented the Ministry. - I was leading miniserial operational working teams in the transport national defense tasks. - I was responsible for preparing the sub-plan for the National Defense Plan and consultation with the Ministry of Defense. - I coordinated and managed the crisis management of the Ministry of Transport under Act No. 240/2000 Coll. on Crisis Management (Crisis Act) in my assigned areas.- I was responsible for preparing documents for the meeting of the National Security Council for the Minister. - I represented the Ministry in expert groups and the Central Crisis Staff. - I managed the register of objects important for national defense and objects of a possible attack in the transport sector.
