• Completed basic and advanced electrician’s courses • Deployed to Afghanistan January 2012 – August 2012 o Only electrician assigned to FOB Payne, independently maintained and operated over 20 generators that supplied power to communications and living quarters. o Successfully shut down a generator site that quickly became flooded during a rain storm, saving an estimated $3 Million worth of equipment. o Cross-trained with Water Technicians to operate and store the only potable water at our site. o Rendered aid to injured Afghani civilians, providing security and ensuring there was no escalation of force. • Deployed to Spain March 2013 – August 2013 o Promoted and became the highest rank for my MOS while stationed at Air Base Moron. o Maintained all records and inventory for every piece of electrical equipment on the base, estimating a total of $30 Million, sustaining zero financial losses. o Designed, built, and operated an emergency medical electrical power site, saving the medical team from losing temperature-controlled substances during a power outage, saving thousands of dollars’ worth of medical supplies. • Coordinated the training schedules for 50 junior Marines, certifying they all were up-to-date on necessary classes, physical fitness standards, rifle ranges, gas chambers, and all other appointments and requirements.
