Among others, I led two data science projects. In a predictive churn project, I used a machine learning model to predict which customers are the most likely to leave Lampiris and why. The predictions were used in different retention campaigns and I continuously maintained the model and monitored the results. In a second project, I created a predictive model that analyzes past sales and predicts, for each customer, according to its profile, which products & services are the most likely to… Show more Among others, I led two data science projects. The results were integrated into a decision support tool that assists the agents in their sales.

Co-skipper of a sailing boat
-
Oct 2017 - Oct 2018
As co-owner/co-skipper of a sailing vessel, I traveled through the Atlantic ocean between Europe, Africa and America. The tasks included: planning of safe navigations, maintenance and driving of the vessel, management of the life on board (up to 16 days without land), etc. This journey was the culmination of a 5-years preparation involving: sail learning, evaluation of the possible routes, budgeting, searching and preparation of a suitable boat, etc. As co-owner/co-skipper of a sailing vessel, I traveled through the Atlantic ocean between Europe, Africa and America. I managed a project of spin-out development (business plan, searching for potential investors and CEO, due diligence). I conducted market researches for all the Company's indications, and supervised the market access strategy. I supported the clinical study department (set up of a clinical advisory board, preparation & launch of a new study, communication plan to improve patients' recruitment) I identified potential new business partners and initiated collaborations. As a Research Scientist at ULiege, I developed machine learning algorithms for the prediction of biological interactions and networks: I investigated the exploitation of tree-based methods for biological network inference and tried to infer at best the genetic interaction network of yeast. I also examined the problem of assessment of supervised network inference methods. Concurrently with my research project, I collaborated with biologists, providing them with statistical analysis of… Show more As a Research Scientist at ULiege, I developed machine learning algorithms for the prediction of biological interactions and networks: I investigated the exploitation of tree-based methods for biological network inference and tried to infer at best the genetic interaction network of yeast.
