I appreciated Marianne's leadership when she headed up a team that I was invited to be part of in planning a national L'Arche fundraising workshop. Even though she had never previously attended one of these unique events the workshop was a huge success. She kept us connected and updated with the myriad of details that need to be dealt with in planning and during the event. I also appreciated Marianne's efforts in sharing fundraising knowledge and experience with those involved with fundraising in the L'Arche communities in Canada.

I had the pleasure of working with Marianne for 8 years at Operation Eyesight. Marianne is an exceptional fundraiser with a gift for identifying and understanding donor interests and matching them with the organization's mission and vision. Her donor focused approach to fundraising coupled with her attention to detail make Marianne a superior donor relations specialist. Marianne's personal commitment to the organization and her own high work standards are demonstrated through the outstanding quality of her work and the ongoing results she achieves. I highly recommend Marianne and would welcome the opportunity to work with her again.

Assisted card members with issues pertaining to their Gold or Platinum memberships, explaining card/program benefits, and aiding in disputed charges from merchants. Most memorable call was from a cardmember who was stranded on a rooftop during the Winnipeg flood of 1997! Had to stay online with him until help arrived. Also served on the committee that allocated CSR funds to local not-for-profits. This spurred my interest in moving into the NGO field.
