When I became executive director of the Upper Valley Trails Alliance, one of my first tasks was to begin implementing a large, multi-year grant that would transform the organization in several ways. To do that, I needed an assistant director with the ability to take on multiple projects and move them forward with considerable independence. Marianna proved to be just the person for the job.
