  The wildfire phenomena, of natural or human origin, occurs mainly during the summer season, and generates extensive damage, due to its spread in time and space, and unpredictability. Every year, as it happens in other countries, Portugal is buffeted by forest fires with serious social, environmental, and economical consequences. Our goal is to use optimization to support decision making in the prevention and suppression of wildfires.
