After being a part of the writing team for a term, I initiated the creation of a new outlet for the ARKISPRESS team — that being the monthly newsletter. The Bahrain Student Society for Human Rights is a society geared towards creating a safe space for students and the community to address human rights issues and increase engagement and awareness. BSSHR hosts weekly discussion groups and also cooperated with the Migrant Workers Protection Society to provide unemployed laborers with daily necessities to help them overcome the pandemic. I was responsible for all the media coverage (photography, videography/video editing, live-streaming, etc.) for the 11th annual ARKISMUN conference. I managed and led a team of 15 press members to ensure that all aspects of the conference were captured.
