CORIP11, worth US$ 1,300,000 and implemented in collaboration with Solidaridad West Africa (SWA) 2. Agriculture for Development A4D) Project, funded by European Union (EU) and implemented in collaboration with Welt Hungerhilfe, Achievements - Successfully developed and implemented operational, administrative and financial management (including procurement) systems that helped the project achieve set objective. - Guided key institutional processes such as planning and budgeting, review of payment documentation, records management, preparation and dissemination of narrative and financial reports. - Led project team of 50 and worked with Solidaridad West Africa to ensure all key performance targets are met. - Facilitated workshops and training programs to set goals, working timelines and effective working strategies to achieve our goal. - Developed a project framework to address issues of quality, farming process and education at farmer level and export handling. - Registered 5000 Farmers under Randlyn Holdings and provided workshops and training programs to implement proper cocoa and coffee handling from the production level up to the point of sale. - Created a new chain of documentation to have adequate traceability for every point of the value chain. - Attained UTZ Certification for Cocoa and Coffee in 2015. - Attained Organic Certification in 2017. - Managed to recruit an additional 2000 farmers under the Organic framework and provided adequate training and modified paperwork required under organic certification. - Provided training from external bodies to train staff on EU Legislation regarding Organic Produce. - Manage the cocoa procurement in country and deal with the export aspects.
