I’ve worked with Maria Winnie for three years and have witnessed time and again her super-human ability to face any challenge with intelligence, passion and a do-whatever-it-takes resolve that makes her a foundational member of any team. Maria’s sharp intellect is balanced by her compassionate attention to people – both gifts she used daily while managing a community of thousands across dozens of enterprise clients. She has the uncanny ability to understand and bring calmness to individuals in chaotic situations, helping them solve problems while feeling connected, supported and empowered every step of the way. Maria's greatest strength may be her adaptability – able to move seamlessly between multiple teams and projects while providing value in many different areas. As cofounder and CCO of Community Funded Enterprises, I offer my highest recommendation of Maria Winnie as an exceptional team member and human being. If you need an incredible person who sees the big picture and gets things done, look no further.

It’s rare that you come across a standout talent like Maria who can balance content creation and a deep understanding of the technical development process. More than that, it’s rare when you have the opportunity to collaborate with a co-worker who is also a coach and mentor – but I did. I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Maria for 2 years during which we both worked at Community Funded. As the front line of our technical support, she was a critical part of translating issues and updates into concepts that put our clients at ease and fostered fantastic relationships. She also served as one of our primary content creators, and is able to create high-quality assets quickly. Overall, Maria’s ability to juggle multiple projects is unlike any I’ve seen before and made a dramatic difference in the productivity level of our team. Maria comes with my highest recommendation as a technical support manager, a writer, and a human being. She would be an excellent addition to any team.

Maria Winnie came to the Community Funded team to support people with passion and help them tell their stories. With over 15 years of experience at various levels of customer service, she is able to leverage her technical skills, knack for problem solving and her passion for storytelling to provide exceptional service. Maria started out slinging coffee in a number of small businesses, and picked up a lot about what inspires people along the way. She moved into the world of web service, worked closely with nonprofits, and helped to launch a nonprofit focused on worldwide food security. Her first passion, word craft, led her to earn a BA in English from Colorado State, as well as minors in History and Philosophy. Maria is passionate about the Community Funded vision, and it shows. She has always gone above and beyond to help bridge individual gaps between people with great ideas and the funding they need to make it happen. Community Funded gives her the opportunity to use all of her training and engage her passion to help others realize their own dreams. Show less
