During my Bachelor Degree studies I focused on Epidemiology of phytoplasma and spiroplasma infections in maize cultivars grown in Southern of Santa Fe (Argentina). At the same time I collaborated in a research Project related to the determination of the molecular mechanisms of pathogenesis in Acinetobacter baumanii. Apr 2014 - Sep 2015
In the first part of the internship we unveil the blue-light mechanism in Acinectobacter baumannii that regulates its pathogenicity. In the second part, we evaluate through molecular biology tools the presence of Mollicutes in maize plants of the southern region of Santa Fe (Argentina).
