Work experience at the Thomson Reuters Foundation, covering the world's under-reported stories on topics ranging from humanitarian crises to women's rights to human trafficking. I researched and wrote a story about hugging in offices in the wake of the Ted Baker sexual harassment furore and researched and compiled a factbox on countries suffering from water scarcity.

Placement in the Research Desk. -Took part in editorial meetings, helped with fact-checking and briefings. -I used my Italian background to directly look for editorials and comments on the Italian press. Worked closely with Editors by providing translation of articles from Italian into English.- When needed, provided information on the Italian political system and new government (Governo Conte). - Knowledge of French and German also turned useful for fact-checking
