  Drivkraft är en mentorsverksamhet som vänder sig till elever och deras familjer i årskurs 6-9. Vi samarbetar med skolor som vill ha mentorskap och elevinspiration och till vår hjälp har vi volontärer från allmänheten. Syftet är att på olika sätt inspirera till förbättrade möjligheter i studier och framtida yrkesval, motverka skolk och fånga upp elever som på olika sätt behöver stöd. Läxhjälp är en viktig del i detta arbete. Bakgrunden till Drivkraft är bland annat en del elevers svårigheter att klara sin skolgång med godkända betyg. Detta beror allt som oftast inte på att de saknar kapacitet, utan på grund av att de av olika anledningar inte fullt ut använder sina resurser eller tillgodogör sig undervisning på ett optimalt sätt. Det kan handla om avsaknad av vuxenstöd i hemmet, bristande målbild och drivkraft, lågt självförtroende eller helt enkelt behov av att lära sig att strukturera och planera sitt skolarbete.
