Maria and I worked with each other at Clarks for over 9 years and we built major successes within that time. She is an industry veteran who enjoyed success with some of the biggest players in the comfort footwear industry during their fastest growth phases. She has truly seen what "success is" and has helped create it throughout her career. She is the consummate product developer who is well versed in: developing and correcting outsole/midsole/insole drawings; executing outsole and midsole molds in a variety of materials; engineering all types of footwear constructions; leather and material knowledge including sustainable options; costing; and is an expert in last building and product fitting. Maria has experience engineering and developing footwear in a host of countries including India, China, Vietnam, Italy, and the U.S. She understands the requirements needed with international development and makes herself available in order to solve problems, troubleshoot, keep projects on schedule all while building strong relationships with offshore development teams.

I worked with Maria for the 9 years I was at Clarks and it was always a pleasure to create beautiful products together. She was often my teacher- showing me how we might construct the shoes we were designing together. Maria has an insatiable curiosity about shoe-making and SO many other things. She is tireless about making a product work well and look great- liaising with factory engineers in China and India and fit-testing our shoes to get them as close to perfection as possible. She is dedicated to her work and her team and to the demands of a fashion brand's production schedules. She is a consummate professional and a delight to work with. I can't recommend her enough.
