  A leading Architectural Practice providing design, master planning & delivery for commercial, retail, leisure, residential and heritage projects in UK and overseas. Further to my 5 years as book-keeper, the promotion to Finance Manager and senior member of the team allowed me to apply my knowledge of the company, architecture and financial methods to ensure a managed growth of the company from £4m to £10m turnover and from 25 staff members to 150+ across five UK offices at it's peak. Achieved by enabling visibility via reporting to stakeholder Partners which in turn allowed them to make key decisions in respect of major prestigious projects.   Sidell Gibson Partnership were appointed as Architects for the restoration of St George’s Hall and the former Royal Private Chapel area of Windsor Castle damaged by the fire. I joined the practice as book-keeper at the commencement of this project to assist with the management of cash flows, payroll for the increasing number of staff, job analysis & general maintenance of accounts.Alongside my day to day duties I studied CIMA so I could provide a more knowledgable approach to finances. I also sourced suitable accountancy software for the company and converted all the manual processes. Show less
