Matteo Piredda

Maria worked with me for several years at the Forte Village in Sardinia. She has grown up professionally and personally year after year, gaining experience in the departments of front office, back office and guest relations becoming one of the leaders of the Rooms Division Department. A natural problem solver, she was able to create relationships with guests and colleagues based on mutual respect. Her attitude was always very proactive, curious and focused on satisfying guests needs. She became a results driven hotel manager with a great team spirit. I am sure Maria will have a very succesfull career and she has my highest recommendations.

Working in a different country for long periods gave me the great opportunity to get another point of wiew of how things can be done. Forte Village is a unique resort that offers and demands excellence and it was a great luxury school for me. In the last season I continued as hotel manager but also I was promoted to assistant rooms division manager, combining the two positions. As assistant I was in charge of the VIP guests, strategic decision maker for the department, groups operation, quality control ISO 9001, web reputation, upselling and data entry in Opera Pms and purchase for working replacements. After a month in the master's training period, the management of the Forte Village resort gave me the opportunity to start working as a hotel manager of one of its structures within the complex. My main tasks during four summer seasons were the organization and control of daily operations between the reception, food and beverage and housekeeping departments. But the most important was to pamper the guests.PMS OPERA

I started very young at this hotel and there I fell in love with this world. I learned to be fast, to work in a team, to be multitask. I started very young at this hotel and there I fell in love with this world. I learned to be fast, to work in a team, to be multitask.

As I am a very curious person, I wanted to experience how the guest lives the holidays from another point of view. The main duties were welcome, assist during the stay and greet guests, giving them the best service possible. Working in Punta Cana during two winter seasons was an amazing life experience.
