Work description: -Coordination of multidisciplinary teams to develop diagnostic devices for the acquisition and analysis of medical images. -Design and execution of clinical studies for device validation. -Multicultural collaborations with technological (e.g. BQ, University of Gothenburg) and medical partners (e.g. National Centre of Microbiology of Carlos III Health Institute, Manhiça Centre for Health Research in Mozambique, San Carlos Clinic Hospital, Global Health Institute of Barcelona and Catalan Institute of the Retina). -Use of image processing, artificial intelligence, 3D printing and mobile apps for the device development. -Participation at international workshops and conferences for the dissemination of the investigation results and co-publication of three scientific papers.
