  As Phase Leader for Key Stage 1, I am responsible for managing the teaching and support staff within Years 1 and 2, ensuring high educational standards are maintained across the phase, and overseeing the pastoral care of the pupils in Key Stage 1.I support the SLT as a member of the ELT in planning for the school's needs and development.   2019 - Present: Year 2 Class TeacherSince September 2019 I have been Class Teacher for a Year 2 (ages 6-7) class. Working with the other teacher(s) in the year, I have been responsible for planning and delivering an educational programme that ensures all requirements of the National Curriculum are met.Since Easter 2021 I have assisted in leading Science within Sacred Heart. This has lead to me being heavily involved in a project across the seven primary schools within the Romero MAC to produce a new, more innovative Science Education programme across all school years; I have led the programme design for Year 2.2016 - 2019: Year 1 Class TeacherMy first three academic years as a teacher at Sacred heart were as a Class Teacher for Year 1 (ages 5-6).In addition to my planning and teaching responsibilities, I was Environment Lead, and led a committee of pupils within the school in reviewing the school's environmental impact. I oversaw the committee produce and implement a plan to improve the school's impact which enabled us to obtain the Eco-Schools Green Flag Award. Show less
