I operated as the Director of Events and second in command of Business Development Institute, a conference producer and B2B event agency. Nine years at BDI allowed me the opportunity to grow the quality and quantity of programs from 6 to 50+ per year with over 17,000 attendees nationwide. My responsibilities at BDI included company management and staffing, program management and production, company and event marketing and branding, multi/social media, sales, CRM and retention. My efforts improved processes, work flows, platform effectiveness, and cost efficiencies. In 2015, BDI was the recipient of the first place award for Best Proprietary Event at BMA’ Ace Awards and BMA’s B2 Awards for Marketing in the Programmatic Age Roundtable Series for client DataXu.
