I worked with Maria at AstraZeneca in her role as process engineer, supporting the plant of manufacture of sterile pharmaceuticals in Blow/Fill /Seal ampoules. Maria was involved as validation team leader for a large investment project, 500 MSEK, including new facilities and new production lines for formulation and packing. The purpose was to meet a fast growing customer expectation, due to a global launch of the new local anaesthetic Naropin. Maria was a high-performing member of the project team, and delivered always efficient results in terms of quality, time and cost. Maria had an open and creative approach to challenges, and was very appreciated as a team leader and among her colleagues. She coached her teams with a sensitive ear and in good spirits.
