Wickey is a rapidly growing international retailer of wooden climbing frames for children. With online shops in 11 European languages it provides joy and happiness to children in 15 European countries. I was responsible for the translations of the entire content for the webshops, social media and other content. The translations are done by translation companies, translation platforms or professional freelance translators, depending on the necessities of the project. Together with international language specialists I focused on localising the webshops in order to provide the potential customers with an authentic experience. To assure the quality of the rapidly changing online content I managed proofreading projects to eliminate errors, maintain consistent and precise terminology and improve the user experience. As a link to our SEO team I assisted with the international keyword research and made sure to blend them into the content according to the specific demands of each language.
