I have gained research experience in the fields of pediatric psychology and clinical psychology during my time at the Child Development Research Unit. I completed my thesis on youth behaviours and skatepark design features that pose risk for fall injuries in young skateboarders. During my thesis experience, I was responsible for a complex research project and learned how to record, code and analyze observational data. My current role involves reading and editing doctoral manuscripts, running research sessions with child participants, recruiting participants, recording and transcribing data and creating research materials.

Through this role, I aim to help texters achieve a cool calm in crisis situations and plan steps for long-term relief.
