Supply Chain Graduate

Three 6-month placements across the supply chain broadening my knowledge and understanding and developing skills and experience.1) Supply Planner - production scheduling for a small manufacturing site and inventory control for packaging. 2) Category Buyer Raw Materials - responsible for sourcing and contracting for various raw materials from a broad range of suppliers and origins.3) Manufacturing - learnt a vast amount very quickly with regards to manufacturing measurables, terminology, KPIs etc. Was also able to apply practically whilst developing changeover sheets, OEE targets, SIC board etc for a new line. Gained experience of people management and supported the integration of the new line into the factory from a process and manufacturing point of view. Show less

Responsible for the teaching and development of English in pupils aged 10-16 in a secondary school in Essen, Germany. Supported other English teachers before rapidly earning their respect and receiving free reign to plan and execute my own lessons. Taught smaller groups as well as whole classes. Organised an after-school conversation class for older pupils to further their development. This key development role required excellent leadership skills in order to maintain control of the class as well as interpersonal skills with both children and my fellow colleagues. Show less
