  I ran the Outdoor Classroom at YMCA Camp Greenville. I hired the seasonal staff, created and updated class curriculum, created schedules, and organized the details of the school trips with the lead teachers from each educational institution, among other duties. Because of the Corona virus my position was changed as we currently have no schools attending.

• Equestrian Director

  During the summer months (May - Aug) I ran the Equestrian Program at YMCA Camp Greenville. This included horse care, barn maintenance, riding instruction for all ages and abilities, leading and walking on trail rides, making sure all American Camping Association rules were followed including logging safety equipment, checking saddle safety, etc, overseeing the other equestrian staff, ordering stock such as feed, hay, shavings for stalls, etc, and contacting the vet when needed. I also had to care for riders if they were injured as well as provide first aid to the horses if injured as well. Because I was working year round in different positions at camp I was also tasked with being in contact with the owner of the horses prior to summer to set up our lease agreement, delivery date, gain knowledge of each horse's abilities, and obtain their Coggins records. The reason I was director in July of 2013 was because I was promoted to Director from Assistant Director when the Director left camp early. Show less
