  I trained with KPMG and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1992, becoming a partner in a small Nottingham firm in 1997, where I audited a number of charities and trusts. When the practice was sold in 2005, I spent 14 months as finance manager for British Swimming in Loughborough before deciding to return to practice. I joined UHY Hacker Young as an Audit Manager in 2007, and was promoted to Partner in July 2008. I have a particular interest in charities, trusts and the not-for-profit sector, as well as extensive experience in general practice, working with businesses and companies of all sizes. A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales, I am also a member of the ICAEW Charity and Voluntary sector group. I am the local sustainability and renewable energy specialist for UHY Hacker Young.
