Margery and myself were part of an extraordinary architects group in NAG IT supporting their banks in Europe at that time : Clydesdale, Yorkshire, Northern and National Irish Banks. None of these banks were integrated and hence had diverse and typically not documented data models. Margery's knowledge, tenacity and patience enabled many critical projects of NAG to progress due to her ability to ensure data was not forgotten in all the decisions being made. My time working with Margery was the most pleasurable of my career and our professional relationship has continued for nearly 15 years.

I am delighted to be part of the Data Lab team, having admired this innovation centre since its inception. The inspiring mission is to help Scotland maximise value from data, and lead the world to a data-powered future. From our operational hubs in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen and Inverness, we are focused on giving individuals and organisations the practical skills and hands on experience they need to apply the latest data science thinking in the real world. I deliver Leadership Training services which lay the foundations for Businesses, Third and Public Sectors to succeed in their own data journey. I was also one of the TORCH programme team who delivered a range of projects from 2020 - 2022 under SE-supported funding. Show less
