I met Margery in January, 2011, when she enrolled in my Editing class. Although the class was geared to editing for various forms of news media and her previous experience was literary editing, Margery was an exemplary student. Her final project, which applied coursework in grammar, style, and design to an Adobe InDesign page, was one of the best in the class.

As a Taipan intern, my regular tasks included proofreading company material, writing press releases, investigating means to improve Taipan's online visibility, and submitting articles and press releases to other websites. I also took on a special project to write job instructions for the next intern.
