I first came to Oregon in 2006 and was ready to purchase a home. I reached out to Marge Bare in hopes of making that dream come true. Marge not only guided me through the process but helped me get settled in Portland. She even helped me get an amazing job at her realty firm. Marge is a friendly, down to earth, knowledgeable realtor and an amazing, loving friend. She not only made the steps easy and clear when attempting to purchase a home but also helped me as a kind friend and took me under her wing. I am forever grateful for her generosity and compassion. While considering a Boston to Portland move we found Marge online. Our initial teleconference convinced us to schedule a preliminary house hunting tour with her. Several phone calls/emails later we had a plan and during our next visit to Portland we met. That day with Marge proved we had chosen well. Marge's knowledge of Portland, enthusiasm, and energy level were great - she set up and executed a tour that covered everything we wanted to see in one day. Additionally, the following day she re-visited one of the neighborhoods and found a yet to be listed home that we eventually purchased. During our transition from the east coast she worked with contractors to execute needed repairs and went above and beyond to insure our home was perfect on arrival. About 18 months later Marge performed at the same high level while finding a home for my sister who was relocating from Florida. We highly recommend Marge. Brenda & Mark
