Margaux worked at Art Night as Head of Education and Outreach in 2017-2018. She was a very valued member of the team and delivered fantastic work which had a real impact on local groups, communities and young people. She's very dedicated, creative, and makes things happen. She was also an invaluable asset in evaluating the festival's impact, which is very important for our fundraising and professional development. Everyone in the team enjoyed working with her and she'd be a real asset to any project or organisation.

It was a pleasure working with Margaux Portron on the report that was produced following the Salzburg Global Seminar program: The Arts of Resilience: Creativity, Courage, and Renewal. She produced an excellent summary of the proceedings in a timely fashion. I would happily recommend her as a rapporteur/report author for other events and programs!

After carrying out the evaluation of the festival in 2017, I created and fundraised for an Outreach and Participation department and: - Built the outreach strategy for Art Night 2018, (with an impact of 1,300 participants), for children, students and families. - Set up Art Night film school in partnership with the BFI and the Cinemathèque Française for young people (13-18 years old). 90% of them achieved an AQA award unit in filmmaking. - Designed the entire monitoring and evaluation framework (collecting feedback from audience members, partners, funders, volunteers and staff) and wrote the evaluation report. - Managed a team of 4 assistants. - Identified and developed partnerships in line with the festival`s curatorial programme: institutions, schools, not-for-profits. - Implemented good practices in communications by making them colour compliant, and therefore accessible to visually-impaired spectators. - Supervised the training of 100 Art Night Guides (mostly art students), as part of Art Night`s volunteering scheme, supported by Art Fund.
