Bio
Sofia Karlstroem
Margareta was responsible for screening activities such as solubility, lipophilicity and pKa measurements of new drug molecules developed in my team. I was working closely with Margareta to solve upcoming problems in the project and she showed dedication to the work and a in depth knowledge of her speciality area as well as a broad experience of medicinal chemistry and drug discovery. Margareta was open to new ways of working and always strived to improve current methodology to ensure the best possible support to the projects. Margareta also engaged in collaborations with collegues at other AstraZeneca departments and sites to adress upcoming issues. In this way we could together deliver the best possible physical chemistry data and models for the project. I can highly recommend Margareta based on her communicative and collaborative skills as well as her proactive way of working.
Natalia Kaplun Borg
Margareta has a great portion of desire to achieve meaningful results in everything she is doing. That strong drive is what makes people rely on Margareta and wish to follow her. She has a good coaching ability which she demonstrated as an immediate manager for a number of scientists and which helped them to grow. Margareta has successfully led her employees to excellent delivery. Through her analytical and collaborative skills and the ability to see the big picture while keeping the problem solving in focus, she has developed and improved practices and processes at AstraZeneca and made a significant impact in optimizing them. I am happy to give her my highest recommendation.
