Maren Nelson is an excellent Faculty Adviser and provided guidance for the duration of my group's Senior Design Project over a nine month period. During this time she provided us with her extensive knowledge and directed us toward the correct resources aiding in our success in our project. Maren's insight into crucial areas of our project such as validation testing, document structure, and industry standards helped us to develop a polished product with excellent results. Communication between Maren and our group was efficient and provided enough insight to allow our group members to make good decisions to yield our results. Maren was the Engineering Director at Physio-Control when I joined the organization. As such, she had the majority of the engineering staff reporting into her.
