Curator of Tuwaiq Sculpture as part of Riyadh Art – the first national public art initiative in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The aim of Riyadh Art is to transform the city of Riyadh into a gallery without walls and a creative powerhouse for the digital age. Tuwaiq Sculpture is a platform where local and international artists meet, collaborate, and create large-scale public artworks in a live setting. The open format of the symposium invites the public to observe the creative process, participate in interactive workshops, and discuss three-dimensional art during panel talks, effectively contributing to the enrichment of the cultural scene in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Multi-sensory experiences and collaborative partnerships at the intersection of art, nature, science, and technology. Selected projects include: In 2022, I curated 'Augmented Body, Altered Mind' – an interactive exhibition that visualised the way people's brains work in real time. The exhibition used a brain-computer interface to immerse visitors in an audiovisual environment that unfolds in real time. Co-created by the public, this immersive artwork explored the intersections of the climate challenge, individual agency, and variations in the human brain and cognition. In 2020, I collaborated with publishing companies on devising a number of socially-engaged art projects and public engagement activities that received support from the EU Creative Europe grants as well as International Visegrad Fund and European Cultural Foundation. Creative Europe applications received scores above 90% from the evaluation committee. In 2019, I managed the production and delivery of 'Entirely hollow aside from the dark' by AlanJames Burns, a series of immersive psychoacoustic sound events inside Creswell Crags caves, a site boasting UK’s only examples of Ice Age Rock Art. This critically acclaimed public engagement project was developed in partnership with Creswell Crags Museum and Heritage Centre in East Midlands, Arts Council England, Culture Ireland as well as scientists and music psychology researchers from Ireland and the UK.
