  Out of hundreds of applicant for the Sime Darby Management Apprenticeship Program, I was the only female candidate that was selected and attached to the External and Internal Communications Unit, Corporate Communications Department, Sime Darby Plantation Sdn Bhd. I was awarded with the Best Trainee Award of the entire program. During my attachment with CCD, I was assigned to do daily news monitoring and then prepare and email a daily news report to the Plantation Management Committee. I was also one of the writer for our internal magazine. During my training, I had the experience of preparing Sime Darby's annual report. I was one of the person responsible for our data collection. I was also instructed to assist in updating the company's websites especially pertaining to the website content. In addition, I also had the opportunity to learn about event management and be a part of the organising team in organising various annual events for the company such as their Annual Dinner and etc. I also assist CCD for their media engagement program.
