Dr. Rhonda Baughman

Over the course of my decade in higher education, and even now, I have yet to work for a Dean of Academic Affairs as educated, astute, compassionate, and creative as Marcy. During her time as my supervisor, she led a team of dynamic and driven faculty and department chairs. And in the face of adversity, she is a TRUE leader: noble, ethical, dignified, and optimistic. I would be honored to work again with her in the future.

I have had the opportunity to work with Ms. Trew for over eight years and during her tenure in higher education, I have observed her demonstrate the kind of initiative which is necessary to be successful in any capacity. She has excellent teaching skills, yet remains focused on the overall needs of the students as well as the business needs of the college. She is conscientious and has an excellent work ethic. Her holistic view of the educational process and her analytical skill would allow her to add great value to any organization that serves students in any capacity. She is a gifted teacher and has tremendous mastery of subject matter. Marcy has also earned the respect and trust of the students she has taught. Her graduate work in higher education curriculum and leadership has resulted in consistent professional growth. She is also a talented administrator with a strong understanding of quality and outcomes assessment. Her work on compliance and accreditation projects has been impressive and she is seen as organized, efficient, extremely competent, and has an excellent rapport with her colleagues. It is not likely that you will have many opportunities to acquire an educator and administrator with the skills, abilities, and character of someone like Marcy Trew.
